The Dove Health & Safety National Association (DHSNA) was established to support professional healthcare services and strengthen communities through high-quality health and safety education programs. DHSNA provides training, professional development, and certification services that prepare individuals to serve effectively within healthcare, emergency response, and public safety environments. Founded in 1990 to support allied health students pursuing careers in the healthcare industry, DHSNA continues to expand its mission by partnering with professional training vendors, healthcare providers, and educational institutions. Through these partnerships, DHSNA works to strengthen workforce readiness and promote communities that value safety, prevention, and health education.

Policy & Procedures

The Dove Health & Safety National Association (DHSNA) offers health and safety training in accordance with the certification standards of the American Red Cross. Full attendance and successful completion of all required lectures, skills practice, and assessments are required to receive certification through the American Red Cross Learning Center. DHSNA maintains a no-refund policy; however, participants may request a reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, with a new fee required after two reschedules. Students are expected to maintain professional conduct during training, and disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in dismissal without refund.
